Samsung is no stranger to wireless earphones. The company had previously released real wireless earbuds in the form of the Galaxy Buds series, and it looks like they are back with a brand new model in the form of the Galaxy Buds Live. Unlike its predecessors, the Galaxy Buds Live seems to have adopted a brand new design.
Before the announcement, there were several leaks showing the design of the new earbuds, which were shaped like kidney beans, and it looks like the rumors and leaks were true. According to Samsung, the reason for this design is that they wanted to create a pair of earphones that match the shape of the wearer's ear rather than sticking out like an aching thumb.
The earphones themselves have 12 mm speaker and bass channels, a triple microphone setup and active noise cancellation. It also seems that Samsung wants to appeal to gamers as they have a "game mode" built in that appears to help reduce audio latency while gaming.
The Galaxy Buds Live also offers a battery life of 6 hours per charge and, with its charging case, an additional 15 hours for a total of 21 hours. This means that you should be able to get three full uses out before you have to charge anything. They cost $ 170 and can be purchased from August 6th.
