A quick story: John Cena has slowly announced himself as a fan of BTS – its music and values - by posting about the band on his Instagram page. Earlier this year, Cena James Corden explained the phenomenon to actress January Jones and considered his favorite members.
Later, in February, BTS revealed that love was mutual.
Yet today, when John Cena appeared as the first guest in the studio on the Jimmy Fallon show since the COVID-19 pandemic, he declared his love for BTS in an articulate and surprisingly healthy way.
"I love what this band did," he said. "I got interested in music; then I got interested in what music stands for. They advocate self-love, they advocate not being afraid of failure, they advocate that you are enough. You kind of try, everything to destroy the stereotypical difficulties and awkward situations we all go through and convey this message to the people who live this: young people. "
He praised BTS for its philanthropic work. BTS donated $ 1 million to Black Lives Matter and fans came together to match that donation.
