There are many Home security camera Market options to consider, including intelligent doorbells, Outdoor cameras and models with face recognition. Inside Security cameras are your watchful eyes when you're not at home takes care of your valuables – or just a surveillance camera to keep an eye on a mischievous pet.

They range in price from $ 20 to hundreds of dollars and offer a variety of Features and specifications. I have highlighted three of my favorite models below to help you choose the best indoor security camera for your needs.

Let's start with the price: The Wyze Cam costs only $ 20. In a sea of ‚Äč‚Äčexpensive surveillance cameras, the Wyze Cam offers a killer value. Combine this with the straightforward Wyze app, easy installation and solid performance – and you have an excellent surveillance camera for indoor use.

What is special about this surveillance camera is the free two-week cloud storage and the integrated microSD card slot for local storage. You need to buy a microSD card separately, but this is standard for most cameras with local storage. This smart camera supports voice commands from Alexa and Google Assistant and has a motion detection zone.

The Netatmo Smart indoor camera for $ 200, formerly called Netatmo Welcome, is one of the few indoor surveillance cameras that work with HomeKit Secure Video. HomeKit Secure Video is a service that works with the Home app for iOS only. It offers 10 days of free event-based video history stored in iCloud.

Only a few companies for surveillance cameras offer free cloud storage (ahem, Arlo) – and even fewer offer 10 full days of free cloud storage. Wyze is an exception with the two-week free storage space of this indoor surveillance camera. This is one reason why it is currently my favorite indoor camera.

The Smart Indoor Camera from Netatmo has 1080p HD live streaming, a 130-degree field of view, night vision and local storage with the included microSD card. This surveillance camera also has facial recognition features when you create a database of friends and family members. In addition to working with HomeKit, the Smart Indoor Camera also supports voice commands from Alexa and Google Assistant.

At $ 299, the Nest Cam IQ Indoor is definitely expensive for a surveillance camera. But there are also a lot of high-end functions with a lot of appeal. First, it has 1080p HD live streaming, free person notifications, and a 4K image sensor. This 4K image sensor enables a function called "Supersight", which enlarges a person and follows them in the field of view of the camera.

When you pay for a Nest Aware subscription that starts at $ 5 a month, you get access to the face recognition feature. With Face Detection, you can create a database of friends and relatives in the app and then receive custom notifications when the camera detects "Dave" or "Molly".

The Nest Cam IQ Indoor also has an integrated Google Assistant speaker for general or smart home specific voice commands.
