When Apple introduced a change in the design of the Apple Watch, it did so with the Apple Watch Series 4. With the Series 6 announced in the next few hours, some of you are hoping that the Series 6 will bring out a new design as well. Unfortunately, you may be disappointed.
This is according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who claims Apple won't update the design of the Apple Watch this year. Instead, Kuo believes the main selling point of the Series 6 will be the inclusion of blood oxygen monitoring, not the design. For those who could be more concerned about the design, Kuo claims that it won't be until 2021 at the earliest that Apple will most likely launch it.
Nevertheless, the design of the Apple Watch has not deviated too much from generation to generation. With the Series 4, Apple made the screen a bit bigger, but the overall form factor is still the same. If you were happy with the current design, let's imagine the Series 6 shouldn't be a problem.
We're sure some would prefer Apple to introduce better battery life, but we'll have to wait until we get back to us in the next few hours for the official details on the Series 6.
