When Google announced the Pixel 4a, they also announced that they would later launch both the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5, but didn't say when that would happen. However, it seems we now have a date to look forward to as Google has since confirmed that there will be an event on September 30th.

At this event, Google will most likely officially unveil the previously promised smartphones, although it is also expected that Google will likely have more devices up its sleeves. This includes new Chromecast devices as well as new Nest smart home devices, so it can be an event to look forward to.

According to Google, the event will be known as "Launch Night In" and will be available to streamed to the public on September 30th at 11am PT, presumably via YouTube. Nowadays, many companies are hosting virtual events due to the coronavirus pandemic that has brought most in-person live events to a standstill.
